Kaitlin Tennyson, MD, was raised in Andover, Kansas. After attending Southwestern College in Winfield, KS and receiving a Bachelor of Science in Biology she attended KU School of Medicine in Salina. Upon earning her Doctor of Medicine degree, she performed her Family Medicine residency in Grand Junction, Colorado.

“I recently married the love of my life, and we are so excited to start this next journey together. My husband and I enjoy being outside, working on endless house projects and staying active”.

She explains her philosophy of care, “I want to help people, serve them, and heal them. I strive to be the best at what I do. My mission will be to help people maintain good health, the greatest blessing of all.

For me, practicing medicine means greeting each new patient with compassion and a sincere desire to help improve their quality of life. I intend to practice my profession with honesty and integrity, and I will work tirelessly to earn each patient’s trust.”

Dr. Tennyson is very thorough and is willing to listen to my questions and concerns. After spending time with me I apologized for taking so much of her time and she assured me that she was there to help me. She is so refreshing and kind the entire time she is with me. Never making me feel rushed. I highly recommend her for your health matters.

Dr Tennyson is by far the best provider I have had. She is dedicated in the care she provides to us, her patients. She not only watches over my health care she listens and includes my opinion on treatments and my optimal health goals. She encourages and educates her patients to have the tools we need for our individualized health care needs! I’m honored to have her as my primary care physician!

I am retired US Navy. I chose my PCM. Dr Tennyson met me and has continued to invite me in conversation, to be open. We’ve discussed so many non-health related topics, which I started. We also have investigated my health. She has recommended many ways to become a better me. I had a hiatal hernia surgery in Wichita which caused me to evaluate my kidney situation. I have CKD3 and am cutting out added sugar. I watched her video and am so thankful she’s in my life. It’s true, she is blessing to my family.
